"Exercise It Once again" is a song performed by American contemporary worship band Elevation Worship. Written by Mack Brock, Chris Chocolate-brown, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[ii] the vocal was released as the first single from their 2017 anthology There Is a Deject.[3] [4] It was released to Christian radio on February 23, 2018. The song peaked at No. 6 on the US Hot Christian Songs chart, condign their 2d Top 10 unmarried from that chart. It lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their second longest charting song.[v] The song is played in a B-flat major key, and 172 beats per minute.[half dozen]

Background [edit]

The earliest version of "Do It Once more" was released on September nine, 2016, as function of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The live version of "Practice It Over again" was then released on February 17, 2018, during the pre-order period of There Is a Cloud, equally the 2d promotional single of the album.[8] [9] It was recorded during the 12-24-hour interval "Code Orange Revival" effect in September 2016,[10] held past Summit Church at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Northward Carolina.[11] "Exercise Information technology Again" impacted Christian radio on February 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, alive, reprise, acoustic and Spanish versions of the song released on the aforementioned 24-hour interval.[12]

Writing and evolution [edit]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Dark-brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Backside the Vocal' feature published on NewReleaseToday.[13] Mack Brock shared that the song was inspired by a sermon titled "Don't Stop on six" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Conference, whereby Matt Redman identified a vocal concept.[13] Chris Brownish, in relation to the song's takeaway message, said "Nosotros want people to know that God is faithful."[13]

Music videos [edit]

The lyric and acoustic videos of "Practice It Again" was published on YouTube on September 30, 2016.[14] [fifteen] The live music video of "Practice Information technology Once more" which also includes the reprise, recorded at Elevation Church building's Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, North Carolina was released on Feb 24, 2017, through YouTube.[16] The lyric video of the vocal's Spanish version titled "Lo Harás Otra Vez (Do It Again)" was released on August 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live audio-visual performance video of the song was then published on March 1, 2018 via YouTube.[18]
